Resident evil 4 expanded map treasure1/29/2024 ![]() ![]() I know they wanted to scale Leon down to make enemies more imposing but not only does that not really work since you're a walking one man army in RE4 but it just makes you feel like you're a 3' 7" guy walking through a giant's world. The "snap to holster" range is also too small, you really need to put that knife or gun back in the exact spot or you're going to be waiting for it to teleport back onto you. Holsters still feel way too far away from my hip and chest even when the depth setting is all the way down. It feels so much less immersive when I have hand presence but they only really hold my guns and knives and phase through everything else. Things that should require you to physically do them are often just relegated to "press X" prompts. The amount of VR interactions pales in comparison to Resident Evil OG on Quest. I don't need the perfect blacks if everything else looks like blurry shit. 2024 is around the corner, I'm not doing MURA and the screen door effect anymore. Fuck a PS5 Pro, give me a PSVR 2 Pro with decent pancake lenses. ![]() + Added interactivity with the pump shotgun and the knife is 100% successful at making you feel like a bad ass. + Graphics mostly hold up in the transition. I'm going to bullet point impressions since I don't have a ton of time for a good write up. Alright, completed my Hardcore playthrough. ![]()
